Duck burger and lemon grass burger were excellent. I really like their French fries too! The service is kind and the overall energy in there makes me feel calm and relaxed. I appreciated that.
The reviews are legit! This place is a hidden gem. We had a lovely breakfast with my kids, mom and husband. The service was good despite only one person working, she did awesome and they were very respectful of my daughter's allergies. More importantly, the FOOD was AMAZING!!! Crispy gorgeous potatoes, really yummy pancake and waffles and great coffee. Will absolutely go back!
These guys are awesome! Such an amazing place to visit! It’s the hot place in town. Always busy and packed. Best food. Best service. Very good people who work there! I always love getting my morning cup of coffee there or a nice meal to myself! Awesome place to take a date or just a friend. The best cafe in the area by far!
I actually am hesitant writing this review, because then they'll become busier than they already are. ......ahhhh what the hell.... Their menu is spectacular. They have all the classic items. All the Fusion items for both breakfast and lunch, and if that's not enough for ya....they have a section where you can make your own design of dishes, and if that still isn't enough to satisfy you...they have a lengthy separate list of side items you can choose from. I mean it was beautiful. I don't think I've ever been turned on by a menu before. .....No, nothing weird....just a bloody awesome menu. ;) The Make Your Own - Anyone that knows anything about scrambled eggs, knows that they have to be juicy. I asked for soft-scramble and that's what I got. Yummm. Herb potatoes were tasty, seasoned and non-greasy. Artisan Multigrain Sourdough....served with cute little basked of jam and peanut butter and creamed butter (see pic.) Spicy Italian Sausage.....Yummm. French Toast with fresh seasonal fruits. Perfectly cooked. (you'd be surprised how many places don't get French Toast right - raw in the middle and soggy on the outside.) Service - Everything you could ask for...friendly, professional, attentive. The Space - Everything you could ask for...bright, clean, chill. My next brunch out will be there. Again. That's how good it was.
PKs cafe is a hidden gem in Port Coquitlam, and I am so glad that my partner and I came across the cafe last year. They serve quality food with quality service. I love to get the club sandwich which comes in an ample serving of two layers of sandwiches stacked with fries on the side to die for. Although simple, their food gives diner food a chefs kiss.
Great place for brunch. Got a variety of classics such as Bennys, Paninis, Waffles and Pancakes to French Toast and Bowls. Very affordable prices as well. We got the Smoked Duck Omelette and Smoked Duck Benny. Both were amazing. The Peach Waffle was good too. Service is attentive, ambiance is warm and comfort.
So my boyfriend and I went there for dinner last week. I had meatloaf, he had a bacon cheddar burger and we shared some wedges. It was all DELICIOUS! I was going to hold off on posting, until we tried a few other dishes, however, after our dinner at PK's tonight, I have changed my mind. Neither he, nor I, was able to choose a different meal, we both wanted the exact, same meal we had last week. Yes, we may become those people who must have the same thing every time we go there. The lovely and talented staff have made both back and front of the house run seamlessly. I only know that my goal is to try more items from the menu...one day...AND meatloaf, maybe.
Dang... Guess the secrets out! Had to wait about 20-30 mins for a table ...but wow... It's legit. I didn't know what to expect for the duck omelette..but it's pretty much a plain omelette with a full duck breast laid on top... So good, I'm used to eating duck at a Chinese restaurant and this was up there....ain't no duck l'orange (yech).... It's really good here. Good portions and good vibe, you can really tell that you need to eat and get out cuz of the lines, ain't really a place to come and chill and catch up with friends if you know what I mean..small and quaint, food absolutely on point. Very good pricing for amount of food and quality.
